A nice Norwegian designed dinner plate / cake plate / wall decor with overglazed hand painted decoration from Porsgrund Porcelain, Norway. It was hand-painted by an artist in 1974. The techniques are high-temperature biscuiting, overglazed hand-painting and porcelain low-temperature glaze firing.
The origin of the nordic pattern was based on the style of Norwegian rosemaling & rose painting and Norwegian folk art. A good example of Norwegian country style. The plate is in very good condition, some tiny missing color dots from production.
The plate was produced by Porsgrund in 1974, and hand-painted and signed by artist from the same year: "T.H.P. " and "Håndmalt ".

The plate was made as a wall decor. The plate can also use as a cake plate/ serving plate. Nice gift for housewarming or wedding, Christmas, etc.
