Presenting a Large / Medium serving bowl from Porsgrund, Norway, featuring a traditional Norwegian Nordic pattern. The design beautifully illustrates the Norwegian way of life, depicting a folk art scene of a wedding procession.

Adorned in vibrant red, green, yellow, and black, the bowl’s decoration narrates the entire process of a traditional Norwegian wedding from ancient times, making it a unique and culturally rich piece.

Production year: 1985 (dated underneath)

Dimensions ca.:
--Diameter: 20.5 cm / 8.07 inches
--Height: 6.3 cm / 2.48 inches.

Condition: Good vintage condition with a few minor underglazed marks from production. The red rim underneath shows some areas of missing color.

The pattern is inspired by Norwegian rosemaling (rose painting) and folk art, a fine example of Norwegian country style craftsmanship
