A beer mug in porcelain with hand painted traditional Norwegian Christmas theme of a Santa sharing beer with a pig. It's very detailed painted by artist, and text"God Jul" which means "Merry Christmas". and painted with real 24k gold around.
The techniques are high-temperature biscuiting, overglazed hand-painting and porcelain low-temperature glaze firing.
The mug was signed and dated 2003 by artist under the mug :"Håndmalt Ingjerd Ellefsen-Julen 2003" --"Hand painted Ingjerd Ellefsen- Christmas 2003".
Ingjerd Ellefsen from Telemark, Norway, is a professional painting artist and a member of Skien painter club. Traditional Norwegian folk art.
