A rare museum level collectible piece of Norwegian antique fruit bowl/serving bowl/plate in ceramic/stoneware/faience from Egersund Faience.
One piece with the same form and different decor is in collection of EF Egersund Fayancemuseum / Dalane Folkemuseum in Norway.
The bowl was painted by hand with underglazed decor of Norwegian Jugend/Art Nouveau style painting/pattern. Made in the 1920/30s.
Stamp: EGERSUND NORGE 3. (stamp in use from 1920-60)
The item is in very good /perfect condition. A rare piece to add to your Nordic collection.
