A rare and unique piece from Porsgrund, Norway - a beautiful porcelain plate with a stunning hand-decorated pattern of rosemaling / rose painting. This plate is a one-of-a-kind item, made in 1960 from Porsgrund Porcelain, and painted / designed by famous rosemaling artist Torstein Ronjom (1908-69).
The Norwegian rosemaling pattern is a classic Scandinavian folk art style from Telemark, Norway, combined with modern colors that give it a fresh and updated feel.
