Extremely Rare - Museum Quality primitive cabin/farmhouse furniture from Telemark, Norway. A traditional hanging Shelf / Display Shelf / Collectors' Shelf in pinewood / pine wood with beautiful original painting and text. Detailed handcrafted / Hand crafted / handmade / handcarved crown, Painted in traditional blue, red, yellow and golden colors.

Primitive antique in original condition, text and date in front. Beautifully written "Anne Lars Datter Sodahl den 10, April Aar 1842 " which shows the shelf was made and sent as a wedding gift from Father to Daughter on 10th April 1842. Scandinavian / Norwegian heritage furniture with rich history.

RUSTIC patina, perfect adding to any country style farmhouse style cabin style home decor / interior / styling.
