RARE Collectible -- Primitive antique glazed ceramc / stoneware / faience plate with stunning "Albert og Alexandra" motif in the middle. Rustic antique from 1860s, perfect for farmhouse / cottage / cabin / french country style living room / entrance / library / kitchen / bedroom wall hanging / decoration.
English Prince Albert Edvard also called Bertie (1841-1910), son of Queen Victoria and later King Edward VII, was married in 1862 to the Danish princess Alexandra (1844-1925) at Winsor Castle. The dish was probably released in connection with their wedding or engagement.
