RARE Collectible -- Primitive antique glazed ceramic / stoneware / faience plate from Egersund faience, Norway with stunning farmhouse / cottage / cabin motif of "Norwegian Couple with Goat". From the end of the 19th century (ca. 1880 / 1890s). The stamp and pattern was in use from 1883 - 1909.

The plate exhibits some natural, age-related glaze cracks, which are quite normal for antique faience. Hand-coloring with beautiful patina, RARE museum quality piece, Same plate is collection of EF Egersund Fayancemuseum and several other museums in Norway.

--Diameter: 18.5 cm / 7.28 inches,
--Thickness: 2.2 cm / 0.87 inches.
