LARGE traditional Norwegian farmhouse stool with great sitting comfort. Approximately 18kg of solid pinewood/bentwood.

Carved in the traditional Telemark style with a stunning pinewood finish, this entryway seat is adorned with intricate hand-painted Norwegian Rosemaling motifs on a captivating dark green and farmhouse red base.

Dating back to the early 20th century (ca. 1920s), this unique piece features a decorative belt and showcases the timeless beauty of Telemark Rose painting (possibly painted over later). Experience the charm of Norwegian craftsmanship in your home with this remarkable stool.
