RARE type horse handle -- Dated 1991 - One of the best carved mangle boards from Norway.

A masterpiece, professionally handcrafted wood carving wall hanging from Nordic. Unique Norwegian Hand-carved mangle board in birchwood / European Beech Wood / pine wood with rosemaling / rose painting pattern from Telemark, Norway.

Well carved horse form handle, and detailed deeply carved patterns of rosepainting style. Dated and signed by artist with deeply carved year "1991" and initials "O.M.J.".

Beautiful Norwegian/Skandinavian folkart.
