A rare piece from Porsgrund, Norway - a beautiful porcelain wall hanging clock with a stunning hand-decorated pattern of rosemaling / rose painting and 24k gold gilt pattern. This plate is a one-of-a-kind item, made in ca. 1960s from Porsgrund Porcelain, and painted / designed by famous rosemaling artist Torstein Ronjom (1908-69).

The Norwegian rosemaling pattern is a classic Scandinavian folk art style from Telemark, Norway, combined with modern colors that give it a fresh and updated feel.

Signed by artist on the backside: "Handpainted T. Ronjom"
