Important Meissen Porcelain Teapot, Primitive Antique from ca. 1735-1740. Collectible Museum-Quality Piece!
Featuring a beast’s head spout (dragon spout), with a cover depicting a continuous maritime scene. The rim is adorned with a gilt-scroll band, while each side is hand-painted with scenes of merchants and European high society engaged in discussions at quaysides, alongside a tea trading scene with ships and a castle or building in the background. These images are reserved within shaped cartouches, edged in black and further embellished with elaborate Rococo-style gold gilt decorations.
This well-preserved antique Meissen teapot, marked with the iconic crossed swords, dates to ca. 1735-1740. It features an elegant form, intricately detailed decoration, and fine 24K gold gilding on the scenes, cover rim, handle, and base rim.

Height: 10.5 cm / 4.13 inches,
Length with handle: 18 cm / 7.09 inches,
Depth: 10 cm / 3.94 inches.
In original condition, very good condition, minor age-related wear and tear, some age-related traces and missing of gilt gold.
