A decorative tine box made of wood/bentwood, adorned with a scorched pattern and inscribed with "Hilsen Brevik." Handmade in Brevik, Telemark, Norway, this piece is crafted from natural pine and beech/birch wood/bentwood, circa 1940s-1950s. There is a note under the lid indicating that the previous owner acquired this stunning piece in 2003.
Traditional Norwegian folk art memory and keepsake box, suitable as a jewelry box, letter box, or table box.
