19th-Century Norwegian Baroque-Style Tankard – Hand-Carved Oak, ca. 1860-1890
A stunning antique tankard from Telemark, Norway, handcrafted from oak with intricate Baroque-style carvings. Features rich acanthus vine detailing, a hand-carved bone finial on the lid, and a beautiful aged patina.
A rare folk-art piece, ideal for collectors of Scandinavian antiques or rustic farmhouse decor. Shows signs of age, including old repairs, but remains in good antique condition.
