Unique Antique Carved Mirror – 18th Century Horse Hames Frame

A one-of-a-kind mirror featuring an intricately carved frame crafted from authentic 1700s horse hames, originally from Telemark, Norway. The frame showcases a hand-carved acanthus vine motif, with its original patina and paint preserved on the reverse side. The mirror itself dates to the 1970s, while the frame has been tastefully refreshed with traditional farmhouse green and red accents.

Handmade from solid pine, this exceptional piece blends rustic charm with timeless elegance, making it a perfect fit for farmhouse, cabin, country, or Western-inspired interiors. A rare fusion of history and craftsmanship.
