1960s' Norwegian Pewter jug / tankard with acanthus vine pattern, dated 1964, Norway

Vintage Mug / jug / tankard in Gullsmed Tinn(Goldsmith Pewter) from Norway. Traditional Baroque style beer mug with acanthus vine pattern on lid rim, after model from 16/1700s. Made in Norway. Production from 1950-1954 by Mylius A/S. Traditional Norwegian / Scandinavian drink mug / cup.

Same tankard in collection of Telemark Museum, Norway. No. BKM.015214

Handcarved inscriptions "Til Åse og Kåre på bryllupsdagen 4.7.1964"

Dimensions ca.:
--Height: 15.5 cm / 6.10 inches,
--Depth: 11 cm / 4.33inches,
--Length with handle: 18 cm / 7.09 inches.

Good vintage condition, some age-related traces consistent with its age.
