XL Vintage Hand-painted Hanging Plate with "Nisser & Cat" (2001)

A superb example of Norwegian folk art, this large-scale farmhouse hanging plate features the traditional hand-painted Christmas Nisser from Norway. Created in 2001 by artist Marie Østensen, it is a charming and collectible piece of Scandinavian cultural heritage.

Handcrafted from solid beech wood, the plate is professionally painted with an intricate and playful scene depicting 34 nisser (gnome figures, including Nissefar and Nissemor) and 2 cats.
